Northeastern Ontario Regional Stroke Network

The Northeastern Ontario Regional Stroke Network, in collaboration with the North East Ontario Heart Health programs and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, is developing a regional primary stroke prevention initiative called "kNOw Stroke".

This project aims to increase knowledge about stroke and raise awareness about risk factors and prevention strategies through a communication/education tool which includes the message "kNOw STROKE".

The intended audience for the current campaign is the commercial-working sector and in the future it will include aboriginal populations and high schools.
